Prices according to BKK's official tariff, checked in August 2026. The single ticket rose from 450 Ft to 500 Ft on 1 June 2025; the 30- and 90-minute tickets, the block of 10 and the 24-hour ticket also went up at the same time, while the monthly pass price did not change. BKK today no longer sells a separate “transfer ticket”, weekly ticket or family day ticket — for transfers, use the 30- or 90-minute ticket. Euro prices are indicative (€1 ≈ 363 Ft, August 2026).

The single ticket (500 Ft) is valid for one trip without a transfer. The transfer ticket (850 Ft) includes one transfer within 90 minutes.

Yes. BKK tickets are valid on the metro, trams, buses, trolleybuses, the HÉV (suburban railway, up to the Budapest city limits) and boat lines 14 and 41.
